These protein popsicles are the summer snack in our freezer: creamy Greek yogurt swirled with berries, with 12 grams of protein per pop and about 110 calories. They take 10 minutes to make, and the freezer does the rest.

Swirl, don’t blend

Folding lightly mashed berries into the yogurt gives you pretty streaks of color and bursts of fruit. Blending everything together works too, but the pops turn a uniform pink.

Flavor ideas

  • Peach cobbler: diced peaches and a pinch of cinnamon, with a few crumbled graham crackers.
  • Chocolate banana: chocolate protein, mashed banana and a dip in melted dark chocolate.
  • Mango lime: puréed mango and lime zest.

Want something creamier? Try cottage cheese ice cream.

    Questions people ask

    Can kids eat protein popsicles?

Yes. For kids, you can skip the protein powder; the Greek yogurt alone still gives each pop about 8 grams of protein.

    Can I use flavored yogurt?

You can, but most flavored yogurts add a lot of sugar. Plain yogurt with honey lets you control the sweetness.
